The following steps will walk you through the process of leaving a school review and then creating a Niche account.
Step 1: Go to the Niche.com home screen and click "K-12 Schools" under "Start Your Search".
Step 2: Click "Write a Review" in the upper right corner of the screen.
Step 3: Select "K-12 School" in the drop-down window.
Step 4: Select the school's state in the drop-down and type the name of the school that you want to review in the text box.
Step 5: Select how you are connected to the school and then click "Next".
Step 6: Select how many stars you want to give the school and then click "Next".
Step 7: Type your review in the textbox. Make sure your review is between 100 and 1,000 characters and that it follows Niche's Review Guidelines. The guidelines are linked on the review page.
Step 8: The next few pages will give different aspects of the school for you to rate. Click "Next" to continue.
Step 9: You will be prompted to register your account. This step needs to be completed before your review can be published. enter the email address and password you wish to use for your Niche account and then click the "Continue" button.
Note: you can also choose to register your account in connection with your Google or Facebook account.
Step 10: Enter your Name and birthdate and then select "Colleges or Graduate Programs".
Note: The selection options will differ depending on what you pick.
Step 11: Select "In High School" or whichever option best describes your current situation. Click "Continue" to complete registration and publish your review.
Note: You will be prompted to complete additional registration information if you want to access your dashboard, list, or settings.
Note: Some reviews go through our moderation process and can take up to 72 hours to be published.
