How to Report a Review
If you are ever reading Niche reviews and see one that concerns you, you can report the review to our team. A team member will then read the review and determine if it violates Niche’s Content Guidelines and qualifies for removal or if it will remain on Niche.
It is important to note that the most fundamental aspect of our service is to be a platform for people to share their experiences at each school, workplace, or neighborhood and read about the experiences of others. We do not edit the text of User-submitted content and we do not filter or remove negative reviews. Our goal is to remain neutral in factual disputes and we do not act as the “finder of fact” with respect to review content. We only remove reviews in the event that they fail to meet our user content guidelines.
Steps to report a review
1. Hover your mouse over the review and select the “Report” link that appears in the lower right corner of the review.
2. Select the reason you are reporting the review in the dropdown menu, type a reason for why you have reported the review, and click "Submit report".
3. You will receive a confirmation on your screen that your report was successfully submitted.
Once a review is reported, it is entered into a queue to be manually reviewed by our team. If the review is found to violate guidelines, it will be removed within 5 business days. If it remains on site past that point, we have deemed that it does not violate our guidelines and will remain listed. We are not able to reach out to users regarding the outcomes of their reported reviews.
