You can update your user role by going into your profile settings. First, make sure you are logged in to your Niche account. Then, click on your name in the upper right corner of the home screen and select the "Edit Profile" option in the lower portion of the sidebar that appears. If you are first brought to a list of schools or colleges to add, you can scroll further down the page and select "Save and Continue." This selection should bring you to the "About You" section on the Edit Profile page. Once there, you will be able to edit your user role in the field "Which of the following best describes you?" Feel free to make a new selection based on what kind of schools, colleges, or other places in which you are interested. Make sure to select "Save Changes" at the very bottom of the page before moving on.
If you are registered as a college-seeking user, select your name in the upper right corner of the home screen and then select the "My Profile" option that appears in the sidebar, as indicated below. Then, select the Edit icon next to your current role.
